3 Series E36 Z3 (M54) ROADST
Release screws (1) at rear.
Installation:
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 52 10 1AZ.
Caution!
Disarm seatbelt lock tensioner before removal:
Turn slotted head screw until green mark in sight glass
changes to red.
Installation:
Arm seatbelt lock tensioner:
Turn mark to green.
Seatbelt lock tensioner is not functional when marker is red
(danger to life).
Warning!
When removing and/or connecting up airbag control unit
(passenger side), ensure that terminal "R" is switched off
and/or that battery is disconnected.
Disconnect plugs (1 and 2).
Version with seat heating:
Disconnect plugs (3) and (4).
Lift out front seat.
