BMW DISplus and GT1

New installation specifications from DIS DVD version 45.0

Situation: 

From DIS DVD 45.0, encoding, programming and individualisation can only be performed
using the SSS. This means that from DIS DVD 45.0, the DIS DVD will only contain data for
diagnosis. All data needed for encoding, programming and individualisation can be found
on the Progman DVD. The testers GT1 and DISplus are used for vehicle diagnosis. In
addition, both items of equipment can also be used as control elements for the SSS.

Procedure:

Basic installation of DISplus

2. 

Basic installation of C1 (only for DISplus)

3. 

Basic installation of GT1

4. 

Installation of "Programs" DVD (DISplus and GT1)

5. 

Installation of "Progman" DVD (DISplus and GT1) from version 14.0

6. 

C1 program installation (for DISplus only)

Basic installation of DISplus

- 

Switch off DISplus with the button under the monitor.

- 

Place the current green installation diskette for DISplus in the diskette drive.

- 

Switch on DISplus again by pressing the button.

- 

Insert the current version of the basic CD "DISplus Base" in the DVD drive.

- 

The basic installation then runs automatically.

- 

Remove the installation diskette and the basic CD from the drive when the
message "End of cdinstall ... system halted" appears.

- 

Switch DISplus off and back on again with the button.

- 

On the "Administration Language Selection/Dealer Identification" screen, select
the language.

- 

Below the choice of languages is a section entitled "Brand". Here you should
select which marque or marques are to be available following installation.

The following choices are possible:

•

BMW

Following installation, data for all BMW model series will be available.

•

MINI

Following installation, data for all MINI model series will be available.

•

Rolls-Royce

This selection can only be made by Rolls-Royce dealers.

Note:

Combinations of brands may be selected. At present, only the combination BMW
and MINI is permissible.

Select the brand(s) required.

- 

Confirm the language and brand(s) selected by pressing the right arrow.
