Removing and installing manifold lower
section (M43TU)
Follow instructions for disconnecting and connecting
battery,
refer to general information in MG12.
Disconnect negative battery lead.
Remove manifold upper section,
refer to 11 61 040.
Drain coolant.
Installation:
Vent cooling system and check for leaks,
refer to 17 00 039.
Remove preheating hose from flange with pressure regulating
valve.
Loosen guide pipe for dipstick.
Detach cable duct. Disconnect following plug and threaded
connections.

Alternator

Knock sensor
-
Water temperature sensor
-
Starter
-
Oil level sensor
-
Crankshaft sensor
-
Oil-pressure switch
