Replacing left or right trailing arm
Note:
If the trailing arm is replaced in vehicles up to 02/2002, this alters
the cable routing for the pulse generator (refer to Replacing rear
pulse generator).
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove trailing arm
•
Remove brake carrier/brake guard plate.
Installation:
Install new wheel bearing.
Detach inner wheel bearing race from drive flange.
After installation:
•
Adjust handbrake
•
Perform chassis alignment check
