3 Series E46 316i (M43TU) SAL
Unclip trim for storage tray (1) with special tool 64 1 020 and
raise in direction of arrow.
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Unclip switch for SMG transmission (2) in direction of arrow from
trim for storage tray (3) and remove.
