Removing and installing / replacing heater
(automatic air conditioner)
Draw off, evacuate and fill A/C system.
Remove heater bulkhead.
S54 only:
Remove intake air manifold.
Warning!
Danger of scalding!
Only perform this work after engine has cooled down.
Release hose clamps (1) and (2).
Detach water hoses.
Carefully blow through lines to remove remaining coolant from
heating element.
Installation:
Filling and bleeding the cooling system,
Release screw.
