Programming Drive Train: 2. update to CD V 33.0

E39, E46, E53, R50/R53

Situation: 

Programming data for control units ME9.2, MDS45.1, DDE504, DDE506 and EMS2k have
been updated. 

Affected vehicles: 
E39, E46, E53, R50/R53

Only the current CD version is valid for programming control units. Control units may
only be programmed using the programming data on this CD. Previous CD versions
contain data records which are no longer current and could cause malfunctions. For this
reason, previous CD versions are no longer to be used. 

The CDs "DISplus Base V 33.0", "GT1 Base V 33.0" and the diskette "Installation DISplus
V 1.0" (red label) remain valid. 

Procedure:

A complete basic installation is only necessary if the CD "Basic system V 33.0" was not
previously installed.  
Before installing the 2nd update to CD V 33.0, the 1st update CD V 33.0 must be installed. 

If the 2nd update to CD V 33.0 (Jetstream) has already been installed, this will cause a
repeat installation to abort. In such cases, a complete program installation must be
performed.

Install the CD "2nd update to V 33.0". Comply with basic instructions and installation
instructions. The CD is correctly installed if the Programming program appears with the
version number P33.2.
