Testing the radiator cap
E36, E38, E39, E46, E52, E53
Situation:
Special tool 17 0 008 has been developed to precisely test the radiator cap and is used in
conjunction with special tool 17 0 002 / 007.
The test procedure employed to date using the tyre pressure measuring equipment is no
longer permissible.
Procedure:
Offer tools will be supplied to every contractual partner with a tools agreement. Please refer
to Enclosure 1.
