Special tools for SAC clutches
E38, E39, E46, E52, E53
Situation:
The new special tools 21 2 170, 21 2 180 and 21 2 190 are needed for setting SAC
(self-adjusting clutch) systems.
The special tools are necessary due to the new clutch versions, which cannot be covered
by the existing special tools.
Moreover, the new special tools can be used to reset the adjustment ring of the SAC
clutches centrally to a new position. The best possible setting and trouble-free operation of
the SAC clutch is thus guaranteed.
The new special tools supersede the existing special tool 21 2 160.
Procedure:
Offer tools will be supplied to every contractual partner with a tools agreement.
