Hand pump for lifetime oil filling
All manual transmissions
Situation:
The hand pump 00 2 080 has been introduced for filling the manual transmission with
lifetime oil.
Please refer to Enclosure 1.
Since factory shutdown 1997, all manual transmissions have been filled with lifetime oil
"MTF-LT-1".
Please refer to SI 23 01 98 (289).
In order to guarantee a low-cost possibility for an oil filling in the event of a repair, hand
pump 00 2 080 has been developed.
Note:
-
It must be guaranteed that the hand pump is only used for lifetime oil "MTF-
LT-1" to prevent this from being mixed with other types of oil. The lifetime
designation would then no longer be applicable.

Lifetime oil is only topped up or changed in the event of a repair.

Exchange transmissions are filled with lifetime oil by the manufacturer in the
factory.
Identifying mark: Yellow sticker with label "MTF-LT-1".
Procedure:
Hand pump 00 2 080 is only delivered to order as a store tool.
