Sprayer for air conditioner
E39, E46, E53
Situation:
A new sprayer has been developed for proper cleaning and disinfection of the evaporator in
the automatic heating and air conditioning system (IHKA) and integrated heating / air
conditioning regulation (IHKR).
The new sprayer is used in conjunction with the HRS spray gun manufactured by SATA (for
sourcing reference, please refer to the workshop equipment planning documentation).
Procedure:
The cleaning process for the IHKA and IHKR in the above vehicles is described in the valid
Repair Instructions, in main group 64.
The necessary approved cleaning agent and disinfectant is given in Service Information
bulletin 64 08 00 (645)
