Adapter for ignition diagnosis
Engines with rod-ignition coils or ignition-coil block
Situation:
Adapter cable for measuring secondary voltage
Valid for engines with rod-ignition coils
For the presentation of the ignition signal for the engines S54/N42 in conjunction with
preset measuring technique, a new adapter cable 12 7 050 is necessary for DISplus.
The adapter cable 12 7 030 can no longer be used due to the greater length of the rod-
ignition coil on the S54 and N42.
Adapter for measuring secondary voltage
Valid for engines with ignition-coil block
Adapter 12 7 046 is needed for ignition diagnosis on the ignition-coil block on the M43TU.
Connection to the tester is established with the passive ignition distribution cable (DIS
delivered specification).
Procedure:
Offer tools will be supplied automatically in accordance with the tools agreement.
