Adapter set for 134-pin modular connector
E38/M73, M62; E39/M62
Situation:
The adapter set with the order number 12 1 300 is required for diagnosis and
troubleshooting on the DME and transmission control. The 26-pin peripheral box with the
order number 61 1 459 is also required for the 9-pin adapter cable contained in this set.
Control units with the 134-pin modular connector are installed in the E38 and E39 from
factory shutdown 97, and will also be used in future model series.
Functional and circuit tests can be conducted with the measuring modules. To conduct
these tests, the measuring module is connected between the control unit and the vehicle
wiring harness, in accordance with the instructions in the diagnostic program.
Measurements should be taken in accordance with the instructions in the diagnostic
program.
