Replacing complete injection pipe (N42 / N40)
Turn off ignition.
Remove microfilter housing.
This work step is described in the section Removing and installing
heater bulkhead.
Remove acoustic cover.
Recycling:
Fuel in fuel lines is under pressure (approx. 3 - 5 bar). Fuel
escapes when fuel lines are detached. Catch and dispose of
escaping fuel.
Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.
Illustrations show N42.
Unlock fuel line (2) and detach.
Unclip cable (1).
Release screws. Remove injection pipe (3) with fuel injectors.
