Door and ignition key discontinued
E46 compact
Situation:
The completion kit for this vehicle includes 3 keys (previously 4), 2 master keys with remote
control and now a grey spare key (not black as in the past) to be kept in a safe place, e.g. in
one's wallet.
The previous door and ignition key is discontinued as from the E46 compact.
Effect:
The new grey spare key assumes the function of the previous door and ignition key with the
grey key head. This key cannot be used to lock/unlock the glove compartment lock - this
can be beneficial, e.g. in a hotel.

Procedure:
If required, a further 7 master keys can be ordered at the customer's expense.
