Removing and installing/replacing front left or
right door window glass (compact)
Special tools required:
•
00 9 314
Note:
Before disconnecting battery, open door window glass up to
distance (A). In this position, lock (2) is located in removal
opening.
A= approx. 290 mm
Note:
If while the side airbag is disconnected the battery for adjusting
the window lift is connected, the airbag control unit records a fault,
which must be cleared with the DIS Tester or MoDiC III.
Remove sound insulation on front door.
Detaching door window glass (1) at rear from window lift:
Door window glass (1) must be opened up to distance (A).
A= approx. 290 mm

Press and hold down door window glass (1)
-
Press lock (2) outwards out of hole
-
Pull door window glass (1) upwards slightly so that lock (2)
can no longer engage
