Removing and installing / replacing coolant
thermostat (M43 / M43TU)
If necessary, remove fan clutch with fan impeller and fan
cowl,
refer to 11 52 020 / 17 11 031.
Drain coolant.
Installation:
Vent cooling system and check for leaks,
refer to 17 00 039.
Disconnect coolant hose.
Remove coolant thermostat housing.
Note:
Coolant thermostat is integrated in coolant-thermostat
housing and can only be replaced as a complete assembly.
Replace sealing ring.
