Removing and installing/replacing hydraulic
unit
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Follow repair instructions for hydraulic system
•
Stow convertible top in convertible top compartment (refer to
Owner's Manual/Handbook)
•
Remove luggage compartment trim on left.
•
If necessary, remove holder for navigation computer
•
If necessary, remove radio receiver with holder
Hydraulic unit with soundproofing:
Release screw (1), remove holder.
Unscrew nut (1).
Installation:
Tightening torque: 54 34 3AZ
.
Remove hydraulic unit sideways from bracket.
Carefully detach lower soundproofing sheet towards bottom.
Carefully pull away upper soundproofing sheet at line side (joint)
sideways and then remove towards top.
Installation:
Opening (1) must be located over plastic retainer (2).
