Check all seat adjustment options of
both front seats.
Over the entire adjustment ranges of
the seat adjustment options, no
sluggish movement, sticking or other
unusual functional problems or
noises should occur.
If yes:
Replace front seat(s).
Yes
Was the front seat replaced after a
side crash with clear contract traces
by structural parts, e.g. door, side
section, on the front seat?
Caution!
Contact traces of the cover of the
triggered side airbag are not classed
as "contract traces of structural
parts!"
No
Replace front seat.
Yes
Checks completed; the checked
