3 Series E46 318d (M47) TOUR
Release screw connection (1) on alternator and remove
alternator.
Remove protective cap (1).
Release nut and disconnect battery positive lead (2).
As required, remove battery positive lead to terminal and to flow
heater.
Tightening torque, 12 31 1AZ .
Note:
Read fault memory.
Check stored fault messages.
Rectify faults.
Now clear the fault memory.
