Replacing all big-end bearings
(N40/N42/N45/N46)
Special tools required:

Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove all pistons.
Important!
Note grinding stages on crankshaft.
Replacement crankshaft identification:
The letter featured in the illustration at the 1st position on the
replacement crankshafts denotes the conrod construction stage.
B = construction stage 1 (- 0.25 mm)
C = construction stage 2 (- 0.50 mm)
Note:
Production crankshafts have no identification for conrod bearings.
Install new conrod bearing shells.
Install one blue (1) and one red (2) bearing shell in each conrod.
