Removing and installing intake filter housing
(N42 / N40)

Turn off ignition.

Remove intake hood.

Remove acoustic cover.

N40 only:

Pull connection (1) for vacuum hoses out of intake hose (2).

Release hose clamp (1).

N42 only: Detach vacuum hose (2).

Detach intake filter housing (3) with intake hose from throttle
assembly and raise approx. 5 cm.

Unlock plug (1) and detach.

Lift out intake filter housing (2).
