3 Series E46 318ti (N42) COMP
Slacken screw (1) of exhaust adjustment unit by a half turn.
Slacken screw (2) of inlet adjustment unit by a half turn.
Fit socket on screws (1 and 2) and tighten by hand without
play.
Pretension clamping rail by turning adjusting screw with special
tool 00 9 250 or commercially available torque wrench to
0.6 Nm.
Tighten down screw (1) of exhaust adjustment unit.
Tightening torque 11 36 16AZ

Tighten down screw (2) of inlet adjustment unit.
Tightening torque 11 36 16AZ
.
