3 Series E46 318ti (N42) COMP
Installation:
Locks (1) on left/right of cover (2) must not be damaged.
Open recesses (1) with punch (2) (dia. approx. 2 mm).
Press upwards/downwards at an angle through recesses with
punch (1) (see arrows).
Press retaining strap (2) towards rear and lift out.
Remove tank cap and seal off tank filler pipe with a cloth.
Lift out cover bowl over opening (3) and twist out from side wall in
direction of arrow.
Release plastic nut (1) on tank pipe fixture.
