Replacing rear left side panel (partial
replacement, C- and D-pillars, top)
Follow instructions for body repairs.
For stripping and rigging operations, refer to texts on KSD
CD (FR number 41 35 105).
Mark rear side panel as shown in illustration and cut.
Caution!
Only cut outer metal plate on all severance cuts.
Measurement (a) = approx. 220 mm from roof edge.
Measurement (b) = approx. 100 mm from upper hole of window
mounting.
Measurement (c) = approx. 50 mm under cutting edge of
measurement b.
Measurement (d) = approx. 100 mm from hole in entrance
cover. Hole diameter 16 mm.
Open welding spots in areas (1).
Remove plate (2).
Mark B-pillar reinforcement as shown in illustration and cut.
Measurement (a) = approx. 125 mm from upper hole of window
mounting.
