Removing and installing/replacing carrier for
rear bumper trim (M3, M3 CSL / lightweight
design)
Note:
Refer to KSD CD for details of preliminary tasks.
Important!
Foam part must be replaced when center section of bumper
(carrier) is removed.
Drill out blind rivet (1) and remove grounding cable (2).
Release plastic screws (1).
Installation:
Observe tightening torque 1.2 Nm.
Release metal screws (2).
Remove center section of bumper (carrier) (3).
Release plastic screws (1).
Installation:
Observe tightening torque 1.2 Nm.
Remove foam part (2).
