Replacing left or right side member cover
(partial replacement in front of B-pillar)
Follow instructions for body repairs.
Consult the texts of the KSD CD (FRU 41 11 142) for details
of stripping-down and rigging work.
Mark cover for side member in accordance with distance A and
cut.
Distance A = 20 mm from edge of bore hole (1).
Diameter of bore hole (1) = 35 mm.
Open weld spots in area (1).
Open laser weld seams in area (2).
Open laser weld seams in area (1).
Open weld spots in area (2) and remove component.
