Removing and installing/replacing roof frame
weatherseal (window weatherseals) on hard
top
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Open side windows
•
Remove roof lining.
Feed out seal (1).
Release nuts (2) from inside.
Remove seal (sealing frame) with trim strip.
Caution!
Do not under any circumstances user paint thinner for
cleaning.
Installation:
-
Soak cleaning cloth in cleaning agent (e.g. Isohexan) and
clean bonding area
Air drying time:
≥
1 minute
-
Detach liner from self-adhesive butylene sealing tape and
stick on sealing tape
-
Cut off excess length with scissors
-
Roll enter bond with hand roller
