Checking cylinder head for water leaks (M47)
(Cylinder head dismantled)
Seal coolant openings with special tool kit 11 6 400 consisting
of special tools 11 6 401/403/405/406/407.
Note:
Special tool 11 6 407 is a set of screws (14 pieces) for
securing special tools 11 6 401/402 to cylinder head.
Immerse in a water bath.
Test pressure: 4.5 bar.
Check cylinder head for escaping air (cracks).
Note:
If necessary, relieve water bath with cleaning agent.
