Note:
M57TU AWD
Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.
Release hose clamps (2) and detach fuel hoses from fuel filter.
Remove fuel filter with damping rings.
Pull off damping rings.
Release clamp (3) and remove electric preheater.
Installation:
Check and if necessary replace damping rings.
Replace hose clamps.
Tightening torque, 16 12 7AZ
Installation:
To vent fuel system:
Turn on ignition and leave on for approx. 1 minute. In this
period of time, the fuel pre-supply pump is activated and the
fuel line to the H.P. pump vented.
