Removing and installing/replacing intercooler
(M47TU, M57TU)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
Remove front underbody protection.
Important!
Coat sealing rings of charge-air hoses with antiseize agent.
Charge-air hoses cannot be fitted without antiseize agent.
Unlock quick-connect couplings (1) and detach charge-air hoses.
Installation:
Charge-air hoses must audibly snap into place.
Press plate (1) forwards, unlock and detach from radiator.
