Replacing rear left side wall (part replacement
C- and D-pillar, top) (touring)

Instructions,

refer to General Information about body repair

Rear side panel replacement part

Remove following parts or loosen them:

- 

Rear bumper with impact absorbers

- 

Luggage compartment trims, left

- 

Fuel tank

- 

Luggage compartment lid with rear window frame

- 

Rear door

- 

Tail light

- 

Rear wire harness (partially)

- 

Spare wheel

- 

Back seat and backrest

- 

Roof liner

- 

If necessary, slide/tilt sunroof

- 

If necessary, water drainage hose, slide/tilt sunroof

- 

Side window

Remove or cover up other vehicle components in the repair zone
which are at risk from heat, flying sparks and dust.

Determine and mark out cutting line for C-pillar:

A = 200 mm from roof edge.
