Area (A)

Length (X) = 10 mm

Area (B)

Length (X) = 18 mm

Note:

Sharpen knife blade before every use on a running
machine with a grinding stone (even with new knife blade).

A scalpel (1) is used for area (C) on the C pillar (for severe
contamination).

Cutting depths for area (C):

Area (C) top

approx. 25 mm

Area (C) bottom

approx. 44 mm

Cut away areas (A) and (B) from inside.

Carefully insert knife blade between body and side window gasket.

Guide blade parallel to side window gasket. Cut through glue bead
as close to body as possible.

Caution!

Do not press down too hard on scalpel (risk of damaging the
PVC spray-coating).

Carefully cut through adhesive bead with a scalpel in area of
C-pillar.

During cutting, a second person must grip special tool 51 3
010 and pull rear side window outwards.

Remove side window with special tool 51 3 010.
