Release nuts (1) for panel (2) for trunk floor.

Note:

The panel can not be pressed upwards so that the control
units underneath can be removed.

Note:

The work for "Releasing panel for trunk floor at front" ends
here.

Removing panel for trunk floor at front:

Remove backrest on left rear seat backrest,

refer to 52 26 016.

Remove backrest on right rear seat backrest,

refer to 52 26 017.

Release nuts (1) and remove trunk floor trim panel (2).

Replacement only:

Release locking washers (1).

Remove insulating mat (2) and fit on new panel.
