Set of pressing tool for repairing dents without damaging paintwork
All models
Situation:
Dents can be repaired without damaging the paintwork by pressing them out from the
inside of the metal paneling with a levering bar and then polishing the affected area. The
total expenditure is substantially lower than compared to conventional dent repairs with
subsequent painting. It should be borne in mind that some damage points cannot be
accessed due to reinforced or adhered body parts. For reasons of safety, it is not
permissible to drill holes to increase accessibility.
In its shape and in the materials used, the set of pressing tools is specially matched to
BMW vehicles. The set consists of a standard kit (for approx.
80 % of the accessible body outer skin panel) and an expansion kit (for the remaining 20
%).
A lamp with a stand is recommended to give optimum illumination to the damaged
bodywork.
Training is recommended in order to be able to use the set of tools effectively. This is
available from external companies and can be carried out on your premises (e.g. for
Germany, Ur-Form).
Please refer to Enclosure 1.
Note:
When training is given, please ensure that the pressing tools listed in Enclosure 1
are used.
Please refer to Enclosure 1.
Procedure:
Store tools are intended for repair shops and are only supplied to order.
Please refer to Enclosure 1.
