The Workshop Equipment - Planning documentation (WEP) manual has been completely

-
Quick and simple location of documents with full text search function
-
Quick and simple navigation between individual sections with links to section
references
-
Much cheaper than paper edition
-
Reduced quantity of paper and filing space
-
Possibility of paper printout of single pages or entire document
-
7 ECE languages on one CD
This CD version replaces all previous paper editions.
Note:
Use of the WEP CD requires a commercially available personal computer (PC)
with the operating system "Microsoft Windows".
It cannot be installed on the DIS tester or MoDiC III !
To be able to read the pages on the WEP CD, you will need to have the viewing
program "Acrobat Reader" from Adobe. This program is also contained on the CD-
ROM.
The requirements for the PC and the installation of the necessary programs are
described in Enclosure 1.
The revision work has covered the following points:
•
The pages of the device description have been redesigned
•
The device description has been updated, new devices have been added and a
number of devices have been removed
•
The page numbering system is now continuous
•
A group-oriented table of contents has been integrated
As in the old version, the device descriptions are split into two sections:
•
Page 1 contains a picture and the ordering details, as well as important information
about the device.
•
The rear side and any further pages contain the device description with the technical
data, design and other information.
In the case of large systems (e.g. gantry-type car washes, paint-spraying systems), project
planning work must be conducted by the supplier or equipment consultant. In these cases,
the technical data is to be regarded as a basic framework for an order.
The channels to be followed when ordering the devices are described in the preface under
