Remove bearing pin (1).
Installation:
Grease bearing pin (1).
Grease,
refer to BMW Service Operating Fluids.
Remove selector arm.
Detach support bearing (1) from selector arm.
Installation:
Grease bearing pin of selector arm.
Grease,
refer to BMW Service Operating Fluids.
Fit support bearing (1) with opening (3) towards rear on
selector arm.
Replace bearing bush if damaged.
Press out bearing bush.
Coat new bearing bushing with Circolight and press into shift arm
until side ledges of bushing protrude uniformly.
Circolight,
refer to BMW Parts Service.
