Installation instructions for adapter wire set, E46 M57

Preparatory work:

1. 

Remove the complete microfilter housing.

2. 

Remove lid of electronics box.

Adapter wire set

b) 

Cable tie, 2x

c) 

Cleaning connector

d) 

Connecting element for cable holder

e) 

Cable holder

Remove grommets (1) and (2) from adapter wire set with part
number 7 790 285.

Installation location of rail pressure sensor B2261.

Unplug and tie back connector (2) from rail pressure sensor (1).

Clean contacts on rail pressure sensor (1) with cleaning
connector (c) by plugging and unplugging the cleaning connector
3 times.

Plug the connector from the adapter wire set onto rail pressure
sensor (1).

Note: 
The intake system does not have to be removed for this work.
