DSC III MK60 - return of parts

Situation:
The warranty parts centre reports of DSC hydraulic units whose diagnosis of a damaged or
bent connector on the return pump (2-pin) is not possible.
On new parts, this connector is enclosed loose in the packaging to prevent it being
damaged during transport. The connector is fitted to the hydraulic unit during installation.
In the future, hydraulic units will no longer be accepted by the warranty parts centre due to
a damaged connector.
Procedure:
The above component can also be removed by releasing the locating lugs on the sides of
the connector with two small screwdrivers and at the same time pulling the connector up.
The hydraulic unit and the connector can then be submitted together through the customary
damaged parts channels.
Important!
During this process, it is important to make sure that the valves of the hydraulic
unit are not damaged.
