3 Series E46 330xd (M57) TOUR
Remove bolts (arrows).
Replace profile gaskets (1).
Clean sealing surface to remove all gasket remnants.
Note:
If the cylinder head cover is replaced, the heat shield (2) must
be converted to the new part.
Clean sealing surfaces (2) on cylinder head to remove gasket
remnants.
In area of joints (1), apply a bead of Drei-Bond 1209 sealing
compound (refer to BMW Parts Service) approx. 3 mm wide and 2
mm high.
