3 Series E46 330xd (M57) TOUR
Note:
Rotate camshafts at hexagon drive.
Rotate camshafts until cam tips of inlet and exhaust camshafts of
1st cylinder point to each other.
Insert tensioning rail from above and screw down with a new
bearing pin (1).
Insert guide rail from above and screw down with a new bearing
pin (2).
Tightening torque, 11 31 12AZ.
Align inlet camshaft and secure with special tools 11 6 321
and 11 6 322 in firing TDC position of first cylinder.
