Removing and installing/replacing control
unit
Note:
Read and comply with General Information!
Before removing DSC control unit, read out control unit fault
memory and if necessary print out diagnostic trouble code.
Installation:
On completion, carry out following tasks with the DIS (Diagnosis
and Information System):
•
Coding for new control unit
•
Adjustment of steering angle sensor
•
End-of-tape test for new control unit
Unfasten plug connection lock (1) in direction (2). Detach plug
connection (1) in direction (3) vertically towards top.
Installation:
Position plug connection (1) vertically on control unit so as to
avoid damaging pins.
Release screws (1) and detach control unit (2) from hydraulic unit.
