Removing and installing/replacing DSC3
precharging pump (M3)

Note:

Bleed brake system after completing tasks.

Remove heater bulkhead.

Remove expansion tank.

Remove brake master cylinder.

Remove seal (1) towards top.

Remove vacuum line and B+line from assembly compartment
partition wall.

Turn fasteners (1) through 90

°

 and thus unlock. Remove

assembly compartment partition wall (2) towards top.

Installation:

When installing the vacuum line and B+line, ensure rubber
grommets are correctly seated.

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect. Release screw (2).

Installation:

Tightening torque 34 51 11AZ.

Lift precharging pump (3) out of rubber mount.

Installation:

Tightening torques

Pipe (1).

34 32 1AZ

Intake line (2).
