Checking camshaft timing (M47T2)
Special tools required:
•
11 5 180
•
11 6 321
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove cylinder head.
Crank engine at central bolt.
The cams on the camshafts (1) of the 1st cylinder point in the
direction of travel to the right.
See illustration M57TU.
Remove protective cap in direction of arrow.
Installation:
Reinstall protective cap with some grease.
