Removing and installing or replacing exhaust
turbocharger (M47T2)
Warning!
Scalding hazard!
Only perform these tasks on an engine that has cooled down.
Important!
Fit charge air hoses dry and without grease otherwise this
may result in supercharger malfunction.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove air filter element
•
Remove intake manifold
•
Remove primary catalytic converter
Loosen bolts.
Turn holder (1) in direction of arrow.
Detach pressure hose (2) in direction of arrow.
