Removing and installing/replacing pressure
accumulator of injection system (M47T2)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove intake air manifold
Important!
When working on the oil, coolant or fuel circuit, you must
protect the alternator against contamination.
Cover alternator with suitable materials.
Failure to comply with this procedure may result in an
alternator malfunction.
Recycling:
Catch and dispose of escaping fuel.
Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.
Release pressure lines (1 to 4).
Tightening torque 13 53 1AZ
.
Unlock plug on pressure sensor and disconnect.
Unlock plug on pressure regulator and disconnect.
