Removing ignition coil cover (N42 / N46)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
E46 only:
Remove microfilter housing
•
E85 only:
Remove right tension strut
•
E83 only:
Remove tension strut on spring strut dome
•
E9x, E81, E87 only
Remove microfilter housing
Open and fold back sealing cap.
Align markings to each other.
Compress sides of ring (1), push upwards and lift off.
Pull ignition coil cover (1) out of rubber grommets and remove.
