Replacing drive plate for compressor (4-
cylinder diesel engine)
Special tools required:
•
64 1 090
Note:
If the drive plate on the belt pulley is broken, the belt pulley can be
turned when the A/C compressor drive shaft is blocked with a tool.
However, the tool must only be able to turn the drive shaft.
In this case, carry out the following operations.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove front underbody protection
•
Remove A/C compressor drive belt
Note:
For a better depiction, the repair operation is described on an A/C
compressor which has been removed.
Important!
Do not damage ring groove of belt pulley (2) during removal.
Remove and dispose of circlip (1) with pliers.
