3 Series E90 320i (N43) SAL
Lubricate all bearing caps with oil according to identification (A1
to A4) and fit in correct position.
Tighten down all nuts of bearing shells (A1 to A4) uniformly in
order (1 to 8) by a half turn.
Installation:
The holders for the oil line must be mounted on bearing caps (A1
and A4).
Tightening torque: 11 31 1AZ
.
Press upper chain guide (1) in direction of arrow.
Fit bearing shell (2).
Tighten down nuts (2 to 5).
Tightening torque: 11 31 1AZ
.
Important!
Screws can fall into the timing case (risk of damage!).
Insert screws (1) of upper chain guide.
Tightening torque: 11 31 4AZ
