Ends of compression rings (1) point upwards.

Make sure compression rings (1) are engaged at ends.

Both cams of inlet and exhaust camshafts remain together on
1 cylinder.

Bearing caps of inlet camshaft are marked E1 to E4 from inlet
side.

Lubricate inlet camshaft and bearing caps with engine oil.

Fit bearing caps of inlet camshaft.

Note:

Retaining clips for oil line are fitted on bearing caps E1 and E4.

Insert nuts (1 to 5) and initially tighten by hand without play.

Tighten down nuts (1 to 5) of bearing caps in 1/2 turn increments
from inside outwards.

Tightening torque 11 31 1AZ .
